Singer Fantasia Barrino is currently going through a family loss after her eldest nephew was shot and killed in a shoot out in Greensboro,NC on Tuesday morning.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ.com that the former American Idol singer’s 18-year-old nephew Tyquan, the son of her musician brother Ricco, was involved in a verbal/physical altercation at a residential complex in Greensboro, which spilled out into the nearby street.
The young man was shot multiple times and was later on transported to the nearby Moses Cone Hospital, where the teen was later pronounced dead. A 21-year-old suspect was arrested and had later on been charged with first degree murder. Continue reading

Rancho Tehama Reserve, CA – In the early morning hours, a gunman in California has shot 4 people and injured 10 while aiming his attack on the local school, but was stopped by a lockdown procedure that saved the people inside. The man continued his rampage outside but was later killed by the cops.
No children were killed in the shooting spree shortly before 8 a.m. (Pacific Time).

In Charlotte, North Carolina a young woman’s body was found behind a church and was discovereed by the groundskeeper who was cutting grass.
The woman was identified as Ashanti Billie, 19, who was a native to Norfolk, VA. Though she was identified, her murderer remained a mystery until Wednesday when Department of Justice in Charlotte announced that they had arrested a man by the name of Erick Brian Brown. Parents of Crissita Cage-Toaster reported her missing in October of 2009 when she was only 28-years-old.
Her mother Rosita Cage-Toaster reported last month that the police had called her that day to tell her that they had found Crissita’s body in 2010 and buried her unidentified.
They believe he had been dead for over two years.
The remains of a Dekalb County man’s remains were nothing but bones when he was found, it is believed that the man may have died back in 2015. The deceased was believed to be in his forties and disabled.

The body was found behind a church when a groundskeeper who was cutting grass noticed a smell and followed it. He had then found the remains of the young woman who he would later find out was actually reported missing

Authorities say a man cutting grass early Friday morning at East Stonewall AME Zion Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, smelled something strange, which turned out to be 19-year-old Ashanti Billie’s body.

Billie was reported missing two weeks ago when she didn’t show up to the sandwich shop where she worked in Norfolk, Virginia.
Police haven’t released a cause of death, but the FBI believes she may have been murdered, and have launched a manhunt to track down her killer, according to NBC
It remains unclear if authorities are pursuing a specific suspect.
Billie, a culinary arts student who had recently graduated from high school, was last seen at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek on September 18.
She was thought to be arriving at work at the Blimpie sandwich shop where she was employed as an assistant manager.
Her car was then spotted by neighbor’s on September 23 abandoned on a dead-end street in the Ocean View part of Norfolk.
‘It is with deep regret that I inform the community that Ashanti Billie has been located, deceased, in Charlotte, North Carolina,’ FBI special agent Martin Culbreth said in a statement.
“God makes no mistakes,” said a Christian couple who were arrested after allowing their daughter to succumb to jaundice instead of taking her to medical officials.
Joshua and Rachel Piland, parents of the child who met her demise due to parents not getting her any medical treatment.
